曼联被轰34脚仍逃出生天！正确的道路？正确的战术√
记者寒冰报道 利物浦球迷们期待的再一次横扫没有出现，尽管克洛普的球队全场射门多达34次，创英超2017/18赛季以来单场单队最高射门纪录，但却没能在“哀兵”曼联身上拿到哪怕一个进球。反倒是明白“苟活”胜于“作死”的滕哈赫，利用经验丰富的双料冠军后卫瓦拉内统领的红魔防线完成了零封奇迹。
看似一边倒的攻防大战，精彩场面并不多。更能刺激球迷情绪的场面，反倒是赛前利物浦极端球迷用酒瓶袭击曼联大巴，以及补时达洛特10秒内拿到两张黄牌离场。讽刺的是，上次英超单场射门达34次以上一无所获的球队，正是此役被利物浦疯狂“扫射”的曼联。2016年10月，曼联对伯恩利射门38次颗粒无收。时隔7年，瓦拉内统领的防线让傲慢的利物浦人感受到了同样的尴尬。
内忧外患的曼联能终结利物浦连续34场比赛进球的纪录，是全队战术思路一致的结果。而防线组织不俗，瓦拉内和奥纳纳要记头功。法国中卫全场15次解围，本赛季英超高居第2位，仅少于布伦特福德后卫平诺克的17次。曼联防线全场13次封堵射门，创本赛季该项统计最高纪录。其中卢克·肖3次，埃文斯和瓦拉内各2次。
近期一直被诟病的门将奥纳纳没有明显失误，30次传球是曼联最多。还有多达8次扑救，包括扑出萨拉赫、科纳特和迪亚兹的射门。追平2014年12月的德赫亚，是9年来双红会曼联门将单场扑救次数最多。《每日邮报》给喀麦隆门将打了7.5分，仅次于达洛特（8分），与瓦拉内和利物浦的阿诺德并列第二高。
甚至安东尼此役也交出7次抢断，今年2月弗雷德（10次）以来曼联球员单场抢断最多。赛前巴西边锋被炮轰25场进球荒，“圆规护球”比助攻还多。此役后不少球迷调侃，安东尼从边锋改踢边后卫应该更有前途。
瓦拉内冻结努涅斯，指挥调度防线的能力证明他有资格成为曼联队长。达洛特最后时刻被罚出场再次凸显英超裁判的业余，否则全场最佳不会是阿诺德，而是在边路冻结了迪亚兹的曼联边卫。

利物浦后卫范戴克批评“只有1支球队想赢”，吐槽因为奥纳纳的表现利物浦“只踢了半小时比赛”。克洛普也“内涵”滕哈赫“认怂”：“我希望曼联处于更好排名，这样我们就能踢足球了。”但正如内维尔所言：足球不是只有进攻，更重视防守是正确的选择。他认为防守高分的平局，对近期焦头烂额的曼联和滕哈赫都是解脱。当然并不意味着曼联比利物浦更出色，除了防线，红魔进攻端依旧乏善可陈。利物浦进攻核心索博斯莱状态低迷，萨拉赫和努涅斯没有更积极，也是红魔可以带走1分的重要原因。
滕哈赫又“逃出生天”，赛后依旧强调“曼联正在正确的道路上”。但至少这一次，荷兰人对自身定位准确，战术思路对头，没有像上赛季被利物浦大比分羞辱，而防线重新找回自信，也算是成功了一半。拉特克利夫入股之前，滕哈赫又得到了喘息的机会。而此役过后，相信滕哈赫也会如当初转变对麦克托米奈和马奎尔的态度一样，意识到瓦拉内对于球队的重要性。
